The original rebels, like the denim they wore, challenged convention, were unwilling to accept the status quo and questioned everything. So like any rebel, we’re not going to sit by and accept the way a pair of jeans are made just because someone once decided profit comes before planet. Lucky for us, we’re not alone. With our friends at Saitex—the world’s cleanest denim factory, we’re launching a range which simply reaffirms that original rebellious spirit. Our 2024 collection may have its origins in the past, but it is very much focussed on having a future legacy.

Barkers Denim Fit Guide

Slim - Rambler

The rambler is a slim fit designed to be streamlined close to the leg. The rambler features a mid-waist rise that is slim from the thigh all the way down to a slim leg opening. It's our narrowest leg - but not too skinny.

Taper - Nomad

The nomad is a tapered mid-waist fit with room from the seat through the thigh and tapers to the leg opening - making it optimal for those who want a little more room to move and are looking for a slim look.

Straight - Wanderer

The wanderer is a regular straight fit with a mid-waist rise. It is designed with room from the knee down and offers a relaxed straight leg opening. The wanderer is a classic yet refined staple.

Other jeans use 80L of production water per pair. Ours use 1.5L per pair after water recycling.
